THE DREAM

Trapped in the school yard surrounded by

spies.  She patiently awaited the end of

her sentence here.  Like a prisoner

she knew these walls could not keep

her much longer because joy had

found her.  She devoted her life

to others and served herself with

the same love devoted to strangers.

She had made a heaven of her hell.

Why was she so happy even here

within the gates?  Life is a

celebration she shared  with tears

in her eyes.
